The country has a continental climate that is changing very rapidly. There are four very marked seasons! Average summer temperature +20C, average winter temperature -23C, average rainfall 200-220 mm per annum. Mongolia is a remarkably sunny country, the sun shines for over 200 days a year. The winter lasts long (from November to April) and it is very cold in winter because of the high altitude of the country. In summer it is warmer in the Gobi and in the south of the country and in winter it is in the north of the country that we find the lowest temperatures.
